Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
1. Manuscript preparation
- Formatting
Use Microsoft Word, Times New Roman (12 pt) or a similar legible font, and double-spacing. Number all pages and include line numbers to help reviewers.
- Title page
Provide the manuscript title, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the corresponding author’s email address. Keep the title concise and informative.
- Abstract & keywords
Write an abstract of up to 250 words summarizing the purpose, methods, main results and conclusions. Provide five keywords.
- Main text
Structure the paper with clear headings (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion). Use subsections as needed. Apply a consistent citation style (e.g., APA) and include a complete reference list.
- Figures, tables & equations
Number and caption figures and tables clearly. Supply high-resolution images and separate source files for large figures. Number equations sequentially and label variables where helpful.
- References
Reference all cited works accurately and ensure each in-text citation appears in the reference list.
2. Peer review
Manuscripts undergo peer review by independent experts. You may receive revision requests; respond to reviewers’ comments carefully and submit a point-by-point response when revising.
3. Open access & APC
This is an open-access journal; accepted articles are freely available online. An article processing charge (APC) is payable on acceptance. Contact the editorial office for APC rates and waiver policies.
4. Submission process
- Online submission
Submit your manuscript via the journal's online portal. Upload the manuscript and any supplementary files as separate uploads when prompted.
- Cover letter
